WIA Programs and Services
America's Workforce Network

The mission of the Champaign Consortium, through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Trade Adjustment Act (TAA) and other programs, is to help economically disadvantaged individuals and others who face serious barriers to employment to become productively employed.

It is the Illinois Employment & Training Center (IETC) staff's priority to ensure that customers with disabilities visiting our facility feel welcomed and are made aware of the choices they have regarding available IETC services. We are committed to ensuring that our programs & services are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Our facility was designed with that in mind and is equipped with state-of-the-art assistive technology.

The Champaign IETC One-Stop appointed a Disability Program Navigator (DPN) to collaborate with One-Stop partners, local business owners, human resource professionals, and area community-based organizations to enhance our efforts in ensuring individuals with disabilities have equal access in their pursuit of employment. The Department of Labor and the Social Security Administration recently released a video outlining the roll a DPN may have in assisting individuals in finding employment. Link to video
